A house for a family of four, located in a quiet residential area in the western part of Tokyo. Adapted to the rectangular site, there is a single story area for the parents and a second story is connected via the entrance space. Common spaces, including a dining and living room, are on the ground floor of the second story, with workspace and 2 children’s bedrooms on the first floor. Through the open ceiling space in the dining area, each member can connect with others while having enough space for comfort and privacy.
